Dr Harry Hill

Consultant Psychiatrist (Addictive Behaviour)

Dr Hill is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and the lead psychiatrist at Barwon Health Drugs and Alcohol Service. His role focuses on providing high quality direct patient care and providing governance to a large multidisciplinary care team.

 

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Hill has a keen interest in education and research. He is a senior clinical lecturer at Deakin University, serves on the Barwon Health and Deakin University CHIME expert advisory group and is the Victorian representative of the RANZCP section of social, cultural and rehabilitation psychiatry.

 

Dr Hill has published numerous research papers in the area of addiction and psychiatric rehabilitation. For his work, Dr Hill has received numerous awards, and was a recent recipient of the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ (UK) Douglas Bennett Prize for excellence in Rehabilitation Psychiatry.

 

At Beyond Pain, Dr Hill is supporting the development of training material to address mental illness.
