Deb is an award-winning pharmacist and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia where she is involved in medication review and deprescribing research. She is a guest presenter and mentor of junior pharmacists.

Her commitment to her work and enhancing community health outcomes, research, mentoring and advocacy culminated to her being a past recipient of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia’s Early Career Pharmacist of the Year award.

She consults to two GP clinics and is regularly involved in multidisciplinary team activities, education, and health promotion. Deb has experience in content writing (medical) as a subject matter expert for her local Primary Health Network ‘HealthPathways’ and regularly writes health articles for the local newspaper.

She has special interests in persistent pain syndromes and chronic disease management, including diabetes.
